01 A Frank Lloyd Wright home with tall ceilings and big windows? Lindal Cedar Homes, established in Canada in 1944 and now based in Seattle, sells 9 FLW-inspired kits that allow houses to be built quickly and with minimal waste. Most of its models are rustic-looking, with the titular wood siding, but their post-and-beam construction makes room for expansive windows.

04 Americans are showing signs of strain under a higher cost of living and a cooling job market. After a wild spending spree that propped up the economy for most of the last two years, retail sales were unexpectedly soft in April, coming in basically flat compared to the 0.4% growth economists expected for the month. Meanwhile, March retail sales were revised downward, with spending rising 0.6% instead of the initially reported 0.7%.

Lamborghini and Ferrari and others are developing EV’s knowing it could be embarrassing if your run-of-the-mill sedan can out-race you.....in the high traffic streets that rarely allow high speed driving anyway..... are looks enough, or is the head-turning noise as important a part of the appeal of owning a super-sports-car?
